Yes! It's live now!
After numerous rumors circulated last week about this GPT store thing, tech people worldwide shared their predictions about it.
24 hours ago (it's January 10, 2024, for those reading this later), Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, tweeted the following:
It’s the official announcement of the GPT Store!
What is a GPT Store?
The GPT store is a web store for customized versions of ChatGPT.
Think of it like the Google Chrome Web Store of OpenAI.
This means, that OpenAI now allows developers to create customized versions of ChatGPT that can be experts on a specific niche, or perform a certain specific range of tasks, more accurately than the normal ChatGPT does.
It's been just 24 hours since the launch, and the GPT store is already full of custom, narrow-focused GPTs designed to assist with almost any digital task. Coding, design, social media, SEO, UX.... the list is extensive.

Now you may be wondering, will Nuelink create its custom GPT?
Well, like they said, we can neither confirm nor deny. 😆
All that we can say is stay tuned.
- Is the GPT store available with the free ChatGPT subscription?
No, access to the GPT store is exclusive to ChatGPT Plus subscribers.
- Can anyone create their own GPT?
Yes, anyone can create their own GPT if they have coding skills, or they can hire someone to do it. While OpenAI suggests that creating your own GPT doesn't require coding skills, I believe this isn't entirely accurate. To build a functional GPT, and besides being an expert in the subject, you should have at least some knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs)
