I'm Bilal, the founder of Nuelink.
Usually, this blog exclusively covers social media topics, but today is an exception due to the earthquake that struck Morocco last week.
First, I want to say THANK YOU FROM THE HEART for all the messages I've received from you, checking on me and my team. I am grateful to have such a caring community.
Also, I want to inform all of you that I, along with my team and our families, are safe, since we are a bit far from the center of the earthquake.
For those of you who don’t know what is happening, an earthquake occurred in Morocco on Friday night, September 8, 2023, with a magnitude of 6.8.
The earthquake was centered in the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains, southwest of Marrakech.
The number of deaths has exceeded 2,940, with over 5,670 individuals injured. (The statistics are as of September 13, 2023, at 20:00 -GMT+1-)
With the help of international teams, the Moroccan armed forces continue their tireless search for people who might still be alive.
The situation is really tough and complicated. Hospitals, clinics, and roads are all badly damaged.
Survivors have been sleeping beneath the open sky for five straight nights.
They need shelter, healthcare, food, clean water, warm clothes, and the list is long.
The Moroccan government and forces can’t handle the situation alone.
So it is our duty to help.
That's why the Nuelink team is committed to helping in the following ways, and I encourage you to contribute however you can.
Donating a percentage of Nuelink’s earnings this month to the special fund for the management of the effects of the earthquake.

Participate in local help efforts.
We are trying to send anything that could help these people and reduce their suffering, such as food, clean water, and especially warm clothes. The regions where the earthquake struck are well-known for the cold weather, so coats, scarves, and gloves will be helpful for them.
Set aside an hour during our workday to make a blood donation at the hospital.
Up to this point, the earthquake has caused over 5,300 injuries. In times like these, blood becomes an invaluable resource.
To aid Moroccan hospitals in treating these people, we have devoted an hour to blood donation efforts.
We're still searching for more ideas on how we can help, and we are open to your suggestions as well. You helped us a lot with your ideas and suggestions to improve Nuelink, and I am asking for them now to help save lives.
